How come child abuse statistics are rising?

Why do YOU think child abuse rates are slowly escalating through the years. Are new technologies to blame? Is it because people are simply dissatisfied with their lives...more and more? Do people need to feel love? Are people just have so much bottled up anger that they take it out on someone so helpless, and make them have to live with it for the rest of their lives? I think you'd have to be paranoid, crazy or all of the above to believe that child abuse is a problem that can easily be resolved, because, no matter how hard society may try...society bites back. Rebuttles. Refuses. Sadly, according to statistics, child abuse IS in fact on the rise.
