Child Starvation/ Child Obesity

I believe both of these are forms of child abuse. However, they both have very different reasons of being.
Child starvation. One cause that slides into my head is poverty. The obvious. Poverty. Children are either abandoned, the people that care for them have passed away, or their carers simly cannot provide them with proper food, or, for that matter, any food at all. The children start to get a swollen stomach, an unhealthy disproportionate to their tiny legs, protruting ribcage, and skin-bone arms. Child obesity could potentially be just as bad. Think about it. Do children hop in their car and go to the grocery store and pick out chips? Do children hop in their car and go to McDonalds? No! It's their parents who are allowing all of this to happen. Letting their children be creeped on upon death? They are letting this happen. I'm aware that most are not intentionally trying to harm their children, but want to make them happy! Then the children feel in control and have CONTROL OVER THEIR PARENTS. Should that be happening? Sure not how I was raised; to talk back was compared to telling a death threat to your parents. Anyways, I would percieve child obesity as not having the children ask for carrot stick and strawberries, more like deep fried potatoes and lighter fluid derived chicken nuggets. (Look it up if you don't believe McDonald's puts lighter fluid in it's food.) Please tell me I'm wrong that both of these issues are considered child abuse.
